I saw packets of white air dry clay stuff for 8 bucks in the shops, so I thought I would give sculpturing a try. (I love to try new things)
This was very rushed, and the head sucks. But I think it turned out a little better than what I thought it would end up like with my kind of impatience and inexperience. I also do not have all those fancy tools but my pointy nails and random wire lying around the room made do.
The wings are just stumps now. I am contemplating on whether I should paint the body before I sculpt the wings , as they would be in the way terribly D:
Also as its drying, its cracking everywhere!!! SfdSDJHFSDJFSDJfh. Maybe the paint and varnish will cover those and hopefully it won't fall apart.
and I've heard that sticking PVA glue over it before you paint fills the cracks so they aren't a problem, never tried it out myself mind so I wouldn't know if it really works ^^"
